Radiator Fin Forming Machine Control Upgrade

Implemented a full control system upgrade on a customers Fin Forming Machine. This entailed migrating the old control equipment to the latest technology, as old parts had become obsolete and spares were no longer available. This required a full migration of the software from Rockwell's RS Logix 500 to their RS Logix 5000 platform, new Allen Bradley servo drives and VSD's, High-Speed counters, encoders, safety systems, and switch-gear. This was a challenging project that made use of multiple PID systems for accurate timing and adjustability.
